A PNG Government delegation comprising of the Minster for Health Michael Malabag, Secretary for Health, Pascoe Kase, and representatives from the National Doctors Association are in Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur.
The aim of the visit was to ensure products procured under the tender CSTB 2797, awarded to Borneo Pacific pharmaceutical, are assembled, packed and labeled according to tender requirements.
After the visit, Minister Malabag said the warehouse has good storage and distribution practice standards including final packaging.
The representative of the KLB logistics and shipping company thanked the PNG Delegate and said “KLB is an internationally recognized company with a high flow of shipments out of Malaysia to the rest of the world.
The mechanism in place is for high productivity turnover in the best practice.”
The PNG team was satisfied with the visit and said the pharmaceuticals will reach the country as scheduled.
