By Julie Badui Owa – EMTV News, Lae

A father of a 23-year-old man who is currently on the streets in China said the PNG Embassy in China is not very helpful.

Tanny Dau’s son, was accepted to study Petroleum Engineering in China, through the Chinese Government Scholarship for PNG Students in 2017.

After he had completed and passed his Minor, which he studied the Mandarin Language at Tianzin University this year,  the 23-year-old was not selected to do his Major in Qingdao University.

Mr. Dau has called on the Departments of Foreign Affairs and Immigration to assist his son and bring him back to PNG.
