Rugby League World Cup 2017 Tournament Director Jeremy Edwards is confident PNG will make great hosts. He said the three teams are looking forward to visiting PNG.
Rugby League World Cup Tournament Director further added that a great operational team has been set up in Papua New Guinea and is overwhelmed with the work they’ve done so far.
They expect to have a seamless operation when the teams arrive in Port Moresby to play the Kumuls.
All three teams are excited and looking forward to visiting Papua New Guinea.
Wales, Ireland and USA will spend 5 days in Port Moresby where they will be actively involved in different community engagements, and have training sessions at the Sir John Guise Stadium.
Just like Jeremy Edwards, many people are excited and looking forward to seeing the teams arrive in the Nation’s Capital.
Wales will be the first to visit Port Moresby as they take on the Kumuls next week Saturday at the National Football Stadium.
