TIPNG ANNOUNCES RENEWAL OF STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP
Transparency International Papua New Guinea has announced the renewal of its strategic partnership with Applus + PNG to strengthen internal governance and recruitment standards.
This collaboration, first established in 2024, marks the signing of a third Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at reinforcing TIPNG’s internal governance and recruitment standards.
Emphasising the importance of this collaboration, TIPNG CEO Arianne Kassman said this is in line with their effort in building a professional organisation.
“To fight for transparency externally, we must embody it internally. Our partnership with Applus+ PNG ensures that TIPNG’s recruitment is managed with the highest professional standards,” Kassman said.
“By strengthening our human resource frameworks, we are not just hiring staff; we are building an institution of excellence that the people of Papua New Guinea can trust to hold the powerful to account.
“It has been a privilege to support TIPNG in maintaining strong and transparent recruitment practices. Our focus remains on quality control – ensuring that the people TIPNG hires are the best possible fit for the organisation’s mission of integrity,” said Mr. James Fraser-Byass, General Manager of Applus + PNG.
Under this agreement, Applus + PNG will continue to provide vital pro-bono recruitment support, ensuring TIPNG attracts high-caliber professionals.
The partnership also grants TIPNG access to “on-call” human resource expertise, including support for policy development and guidance on national industrial laws from Applus PNG.
As TIPNG enters this third phase of cooperation with Applus+ PNG, both organizations remain committed to innovation and excellence in the delivery of personnel, ensuring that TIPNG’s workforce remains a cornerstone of national integrity.
