Contractor to be Paid When Job Completes

What is seen in the pictures is, the upgrading and resealing of the road going through Mendi Hospital car park then into Dog Street which is the residence of the Provincial Health Authority workers.

The project is funded by the Mendi-Munhiue DDA in partnership with the Southern Highlands Provincial government through PSTB to Construct Oceanic Limited. Costings and supervision are done by the Works Department.

The work will include tar pavement, markings, and signboards for the car park plus a 1.3 km resealing. Kerb and channel with line drainage work cost up to K1.18m. Payments will be made to the contractor based on work completed and certified by Works Engineers.

This particular section was left non-maintained for a decade or so. After the completion of the project, Mendi Hospital will certainly look modernized.
