Clean and Quality Water for Goroka Concerns Government

The National Government is concerned about the quality of the water treatment in Goroka.

National Planning Minister who is also in charge of water and sanitation, Richard Maru said they cannot bring APEC Meetings to Eastern Highlands, if this water problem is not fixed.

Maru was responding to questions raised by the Eastern Highlands Governor, Peter Numu.

Minister Maru said the water supply service was the revenue generator for the National Government, and it has the responsibiltity to maintain and sustain the system.
