Chamber Staff Spread Easter Joy to Children at Life PNG Care

Staff of the PNG Chamber of Mines and Petroleum staff visited the Life PNG Care centre in Port Moresby to spread the love of Easter to the disadvantaged and vulnerable children at the centre.
Food and basic items were donated to the centre including a cake which the staff shared with the children.

Centre Founder Mr Collin Parke when receiving the small donation thanked the Chamber kind donation which he added will go a long way in assisting the centre look after the children.

Chamber Public Relations and Communications Manager Mr Mackhenly Kaiok said as part of the Chamber’s Community Outreach Program, the organisation occasionally visits institutions such as the Life PNG Care to donate food and basic items.

“Although this donation is small, it is significant as it will really assist the centre look after the many children it houses during this long Easter weekend,” he said.

Life PNG Care has been looking after disadvantaged and vulnerable children and youth for over 10 years now. The centre currently houses almost 70 children, most of whom are now attending schools and tertiary institutions.
