Catholic Bishops Call for Respect of Life

The Catholic Bishops Conference of Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands has appealed for people to respect human life and reject violence.

Newly elected CBC President Archbishop Anton Bal says the church condemns recent cases of brutality and violence saying this has to stop.

Archbishop Bal made these comments during CBC’s Annual General meeting in Port Moresby today.

Other Issues discussed in the AGM include  Health, Gender Based Violence, Environment, New Evangelization and others.
