The Caritas Technical Secondary School in Port Moresby held their fourth Hamamas Krismas concert yesterday at the school cathedral.
A significant event on the school’s annual calendar, it was attended by members of the diplomatic corp., other dignitaries, students and their families.
Proceeds from the concert will go towards the completion of the school’s new multi-purpose hall, valued at a million Kina.
Students gave heart-warming performances through various acts of singing, choirs and presentations from teachers and international singing acts.
Sister Cho said the concert in itself is an opportunity for the students to grow musically and to build on their self confidence, an essential aspect of their personalities.
She added that when completed, the multipurpose hall would cater for sports and recreation, such as gymnasium, which would contribute to enriching their studies and lives.
The Caritas Technical Secondary School is an all-girls school run by the Catholic Education Division of Papua New Guinea.
