The Hebou PNG Barramundis will be playing two extra One Day International (ODI) fixtures in their United Arab Emirates tour.
They will be touring later next month to early December.
This was announced by Cricket PNG yesterday.
Currently sitting second to Netherlands in the Division 2 ICC World Cricket League Championship, the Barramundis will be on their final tour of this 2-year competition with determination to finish on top.
Apart from their drawn round 7 fixtures against Hong Kong, they will also face Scotland once more in another 2 ODIs on this tour.
The dates of the two (2) ODIs are confirmed for Friday 24th and Saturday 25th of November at Dubai International Stadium.
With a total of ten ODIs behind them, against Hong Kong, UAE and Scotland since 2014, the Barras have won 5 of these matches, making them the favorites this time around.
They hosted Scotland earlier this month in the Round 6 the ICC WCLC fixtures in here in the nation’s capital, and ended up drawing with a single victory each.
While raring to bring home the top finish in the WCLC, they will also compete in the ICC Inter-Continental Cup’s final fixture against Hong Kong from Wednesday 29th November to Saturday 2nd December.
Heading into the match, the Hebou PNG Barramundis are sitting in sixth place on 43 points, managing victories over Netherlands in Round 1 and Namibia in Round 4, while Hong Kong are in seventh (7th) place on 39 points.
Hong Kong last hosted the Barras last December where they sent the Barras back home without a win, so winning this final round of the ICUP, would set them further ahead of Hong Kong by a rank or two.
