ATS Water Supply Commissioned

Eight months after launching the ATS Water project, communities now can enjoy clean fresh water supply.

The project was launched by Finance and Tari Pori MP, James Marape, in front of hundreds, this afternoon. The project cost a total sum of K3.1 million.

ATS was noisy today as ethnic communities gathered to celebrate the commissioning of the water project. A service neglected by past political leaders.

However, the collective dialogue and partnership by office of the North East MP, Labi Amaiu, Eda Ranu, and Oro Community Development Association, has successfully delivered this service to the door steps of ATS residents.

Host MP, Labi Amaiu, called on the people to take ownership of the project as it cost a lot, and was considered a priority in the electorate. He also announced that similar projects will commence for Erima, Wildlife and 8 mile.

Eda Ranu Chairlady, Mary Karo, said the scale of the project is the largest taken by the company. She said the company is serious in bringing water to all communities in the city.

Finance Minister, James Marape, and Mr Amaiu then commissioned the water project, witnessed by Chair Lady Karo, Eda Ranu CEO, Henry Mokono, and the ATS communities.
