At least 120 PMV Buses Impounded in Lae

At least 120 PMV buses in Lae were impounded as they were not roadworthy.

A mini joint operation by police, Morobe Traffic Registry and National Road Safety Council on the morning of April 4.

Lae Metropolitan Commander Chief Superintend, Anthony Wagambie, says there are too many un-roadworthy buses driven around the city which are putting passengers and commuters lives at risk.

This is also to reduce the number of road accidents in the city.
