A joint economic committee gathered today to discuss The APEC Economic Policy Report. The report will produce issues and policies relating to structural reform and labor markets in the APEC region.
Delegates gathered at Day 7 of SOM 1 to discuss issues and policies to affect generally positive economic change, such as trade and globalisation, and what can be done to mitigate any negative impacts of these changes.
This was the first time a joint committee, made up of the APEC Economic Committee and the Human Resources Development Working Group, came together to discuss the issues.
