A traffic accident in the Nation’s Capital this morning erupted into a punch up between the owners of two vehicles.
One of the vehicles, a Toyota Camry sedan, was transporting churchgoers, when it was hit by another sedan at Gerehu.
According to bystanders, the incident happened around 9 o’clock this morning at the Gerehu cross-road where the other driver supposed to have given way for the family going to church.
The driver of the other vehicle is believed to have been under the influence of liquor.
As the traffic police were investigating, a scuffle erupted at the site between owners of the crashed vehicles.
Police had to intervene and dischargethe brawl which could have turned into something serious.
Minutes later, the police tow truck arrived and towed the crashed vehicle away.
Traffic Police are investigating.
The accident occurred at an area which has no traffic signs to control flow of traffic.
