The Hicon Social Bangle

Opinions are clashing in the midst of these iconic and cute little bangles, or wristbands, that alert you with notifications from your respective – and multiple of course – social networking sites.

Some find it cool and flexible; others can’t seem to find anything attractive about its look or its use in everyday life.

Its' interconnection to your smartphone, through Bluetooth, feeds the little wristband your notifications as they come in. The square-shaped, interchangeable icons that line the bangle bear the respective networking site’s logo and colours, and they light up charmingly when a notification is received.

Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Viber, Gmail and Skype make up just half of the networking sites the bangle caters to.

With the idea of alleviating the cumbersome task of checking your phone while out and about exercising, at the gym or beach, makers of the Hicon social bangle made it waterproof, sand proof, and conveniently light, smart and available in an array of attractive colours.

A social advantage the bangle provides is that wearers are able to see which networking sites they share with any given wearer of the bracelet and therefore socialise, connect and expand your network of friends, contacts and family.

As of June this year, Hicon makers are underfunded but with a massive vision of commercialising their product and producing it on a mass scale so that more may enjoy the quirks of this useful little gadget.
