PNG To Stage 2nd MSG Roadshow

PNG will play host to the second MSG Investment Roadshow and Trade Fair from the 2nd to 4th of November in Port Moresby.

This was announced by Trade Commerce and Industry Minister Richard Maru today. Maru made the official announcement following a decision that was agreed upon during the inaugural MSG Trade Minister’s Meeting in Fiji last year.

Minister Maru said MSG member countries welcome PNG’s offer to host the fair, and bring investors and exporters to PNG soil. “This is an opportunity for our business to expand to our neighboring friends,” said Mr Maru.

The roadshow will see the attendance of big investors in the manufacturing business and give PNG an open dialogue with neighboring countries.

Economic co-operation and integration remains the forefront to shape the region and integrate a global economy. Hundreds of government officials, exporters, companies and investment promotion agencies from Fiji, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu and West Papua will attend the event.

The previous MSG Investment Roadshow was held in Nadi, Fiji last year.
