Four presidents from the Nipa Kutubu and Ialibu Pangia LLGs in Southern Highlands have raised concerns on the manner in which the public are responding to Prime Minister O’Neill’s warrant of arrest.
Representing the six hundred thousand people of Southern Highlands, the leaders said they have mandated O&rsquO’Neill to represent them in parliament and they want him to complete his term as Prime Minister.
The leaders said O&rsquO’Neill should be treated with respect because he is the head of the PNG government.

AFL PNG is privileged to announce that Australian songwriter, guitarist and entertainer Greg Champion has come on board to support our PNG Mosquitos in their fundraising corporate dinner on the 19th of July.
Champion will be accompanied by popular face, footballer and media personality, Footy Show’s Sam Newman on the night.
Champion is pleased and excited to be part of AFL PNG’s effort to attend the 2014 International Cup.

The Rugby Challenge, scheduled to be held this Saturday between Capital Rugby Union and Daru Stingrays in Daru, has been deferred to next month.
The majority of players selected in the CRU squad are current players in the top 4 teams in the Men’s premier competition. CRU’s Men’s U-19, B and A-grade divisions will be heading into round 11 this weekend and washout matches for the Men’s and Women’s premier divisions.

“GG VISITS VILLAGE” – Fabian Hakalits
Papua New Guinea Governor General Sir Michael Ogio visited the Festival Village in Port Moresby today. It was an opportunity for the Vanuatuans who presented gifts to the Governor General after their arrival on Tuesday.
Sir Michael, accompanied by Lady Esmie, paid a visit to the Festival Village.
The Governor General was welcomed by traditional singsing groups from Oro, Milne Bay, Central and West New Britain.
It was an opportunity for the Vanuatuans who presented gifts, as they were not part of the opening ceremony, arriving on Tuesday this week.
Vanuatu Culture and Tourism Office Director Marceline Aboh thanked the Papua New Guinea National Government for assisting the contingent with travel arrangeMen’s.
“It’s the true Melanesian Way”, was the Governor General’s response, and PNG had reason to assist Vanuatu, who are one of the Melanesian Spearhead Group’s early founders, along with Solomon Islands.

The future of an important government education institution is being discussed in a series of meetings in Bulolo, Morobe Province.
The Bulolo Forestry College was responsible for producing some of Papua New Guinea’s top forestry experts, including the Director General of the National Forest Authority, Kanawi Pouru.
In the next few days, the government will decide on whether to close the college or allow it to become an affiliated college to the University of Technology.
