A new sports organization for people with disabilities called Special Olympics PNG or SOPNG has been formed with PNG Olympian Takale Tuna elected as Interim President.
Secretary General of the PNG Paralympic Committee Ben Theodore says to be eligible to participate in Special Olympics; athletes must have an intellectual disability, a cognitive delay or a development disability.
