Madang at the receiving end of Climate Change

When you talk about climate change and climate refugees in PNG, many think about the Catarets on Bougainville where atolls are sinking and families are being forced to move.

But in Madang, the situation is becoming just as severe.

Small island communities are facing water shortages and families are looking at the possibility of leaving their ancestral homes on the islands forever.
