Increasing population puts pressure on food productivity and susainability

Papua New Guinea has taken in significant regional meetings held this month.

The recently concluded meetings in Fiji saw discussions of increasing population in the Pacific and the pressure this puts on food productivity and sustainability.

Chairman of the Ministers of Agriculture and Forestry meeting and PNG’s minister for Agriculture and Livestock Assik Tommy Tomscoll said much of the discussions were centered on development issues.
