Madang Country Club or MCC went up against the Madang Squad for the Upcoming PNG Games in Kokopo in a Practice cricket Match at Yabong Oval.
Member for Sumkar Ken Fairweather made a return, batting for MCC.
As the reigning inter club champion in Madang, MCC beat their rivals the Madang Club.
The game was played under indoor cricket rules.
The result was a triumph for youth over experience with the squad team running up 151 in reply to MCC’s 16.
