2015 will mark the 40th anniversary of PNG’s Independence and the Games are sure to feature strongly in the country’s celebrations.
The 15th Pacific Games will be held in Port Moresby from the 4th to the 18th of July 2015 with more than 4 000 athletes and officials expected to take part.
The Games will showcase 22 Pacific Nations in 28 sports.
This month marked 1,000 days until the commencement of the Port Moresby Pacific Games.
The Miniser for Sport and Pacific Games, Justin Tkatchenko says the PNG Government is totally committed to ensuring the success of the Games for all stakeholders involved.
