TST’s Laguna Hotel Opening

The Laguna Hotel opening last night was a milestone for the TST Group of companies.

Prime Minister Peter O’Neill has reaffirmed the National Government’s commitment, to improve and build Papua New Guinea’s tourism industry.

Speaking at the opening of the new Laguna Hotel, one of the property’s belonging to the TST Group of Companies; Mr O’Neill said the state has recognised the private sector’s contributions, into the country’s economy.

These arrangements will implement under the public private partnership.

Owner and Director Albert Tan, was a proud Papua New Guinean citizen, doing business in the country.

Tan said TST Group of Companies has ventured into tourism, from its traditional supermarket business, that started at Tokarara in 1979.

It was a decision the company made, looking at many potential and opportunities in the tourism industry.

The new Laguna Hotel is located at the former Port Moresby Country Club area, and has sixty luxurious rooms, that offer customers a comfort stay.

Other facilities include the ball room, poolside bar and business center and even solar energy powered lights.
