Police in Usino Bundi District, were called to take pride and perform their duties with highest responsibilities, after being issued new sets of police uniforms. This was the message from Usino Bundi member of parliament Anthon Yagama.
Mr Yagama presented the new uniforms to Madang Police Commander Sylvester Kalaut who received the uniforms on behalf of the police force. He called on all police in the electorate to perform with respect and uphold the integrity of the force.
Commander Kalaut thanked Mr Yagama to prioritize policing in the district by using government funds to purchase new sets of uniforms for officers.
Police officers will be engaged in the 3 LLG’s, Usino Bundi, Gama and Ramu.
Mr Yagama said Ramu Station was under company policing and police have been asked to vacate the station leaving company securities behind and move to Walium Station
An ambulance was also presented to the Walium Health Centre for transport services.
