Telikom’s CleanIT Program reaches West New Britain Schools

Telikom PNG’s CleanIT program is paving way into provinces in the country.

Three schools in West New Britain are the recent recipients of this compatible service which links other schools nationwide.

The program was launched recently at Hoskins Secondary and Hella Primary School by Governor Sasindran Muthuvel and Telikom Foundation Chief Executive Brian Sam.

It was a remarkable moment for the staff and students of Hoskins Secondary School to have access to this service.

Prior to that, students have been using the school library to do research and assignments.

But thanks to Telikom PNG who has partnered with West New Britain Provincial Government to rollout the CleanIT project.

Mr Ravakai said students will now access up –to-date information from the internet, like other students in the country.

Telikom Foundation CEO Brian Sam challenged the students to take this opportunity and excel in academic attainment.

Governor Sasindran Muthuvel thanked Telikom for the partnership as it will improve students and teachers learning.

Telikom Foundation also donated 5 laptops to the school to support the program.

Similar launching was done for Mosa and Hella Primary Schools.
