Hayfield Ganba Technical Access Internet

Hayfield Ganba Technical School in East Sepik is the first church run school to partner with Telikom PNG, to roll out internet access to its students.

This vital service was launched on Friday to enhance student and teacher learning through Telikom’s V-sat network solution.

Hayfield is the first church-run school in the province and the country to benefit from the program. About 400 students at Hayfield will now tap into this opportunity.

 

Hayfield Board Chairman, Pastor Felix Kalimo, was delighted as this service will raise the standard of students learning and teachers’ preparation.

 

Telikom Clean I.T Project Manager, Ray Itana said student deserve this opportunity to improve and raise learning standards. Mr Itana represented Telikom Foundation CEO, Brian Sam to hold hands with Hayfield Board Chairman, Felix Kalimo to launched the Clean I.T project.

 

Currently, over 30,000 students in 30 schools in the country are benefiting from Telikom’s Clean I.T. program, and more talks are underway with provincial government administrations to install this service.
