RELIEF FOR BAINDOANG VILLAGES AS HEALTH CENTRE REOPENS SOON

By Bradley Mariori
Thousands of people in remote Nawaeb will soon have better access to healthcare.
This follows maintenance work at the Baindoang Sub-Health Centre in Nabak LLG which is now nearing completion.
The centre serves not only Baindoang but also neighbouring villages of Bambok, Yeneng and Kemen who have struggled for years without proper health services.
Nawaeb MP Theo Pelgen says his DDA is committed to reaching and connecting the unreached.
He says fixing the health centre is part of delivering essential services to rural areas, following media reports that highlighted their struggles.
Mr Pelgen says the next step is to ensure the centre is properly staffed and stocked with medicine so it can serve the people reliably.
