K6 MILLION IN SCHOLARSHIPS PAID TO SUPPORT MOROBE STUDENTS IN 2026

The Morobe Provincial Government has delivered K6 million in tertiary scholarship payments for Morobe students studying across Papua New Guinea.
The full amount was paid directly to tertiary institutions under the 2026 Morobe Provincial Government Scholarship Scheme (MPG GSS). This ensures students can complete registrations and continue their studies without delay.
Governor Rainbo Paita said education remains a top priority for the province.
“Despite financial challenges, we remain committed to supporting our students because they are the future leaders, professionals and innovators who will drive Morobe and Papua New Guinea forward.
