COMMUNITIES TO STAY ALERT ON EASTER PERIOD

Police Commissioner David Manning has issued orders, advising the public that while police will be in uniform out during this easter operation, others will dress in plain clothes to look out for troublemakers.

As police across the country carry out easter operations, Commissioner Manning encourages all citizens on the importance of Easter, as a time to reflect and thank God for his goodness.

He said, police will not tolerate anti social behaviour, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.

“Zero Tolerance and a hard response to criminal activity is the approach from Police on patrol”, Commissioner Manning advised.

“Police are here to protect the good and law-abiding citizen of our country not those who fail to adhere to the laws and values of the communities”.

The areas of patrol will include, going into the urban areas and making sure police presence is seen at public gatherings, PMV stops, and markets.
