PAPUA NEW GUINEA WOMEN SEAL VICTORY OVER UAE IN ODI SERIES

Papua New Guinea women secured a strong 78-run victory over the United Arab Emirates Women in the Match four (4) of the international cricket council (ICC) Women’s One Days International (ODI) League over the weekend.

Batting first, Papua New Guinea posted 210 for nine in their full 50 overs.

Top scorer Pauke Siaka led the innings with 60 runs off 63 balls (4 fours), supported by Holland Doriga with 48 from 61 balls (6 fours, 1 six).

Konio Oala contributed a brisk 22 off 20 balls, while Naoani Vare and Brenda Hoi Tau added 18 and 11 respectively.

For the UAE, Indhuja Nandakumar took four wickets for 50 runs from nine overs, Esha Rohit Oza and Al Maseera Jahangir claimed two wickets each while Vaishnave Mahesh picked up a wicket.

The United Arab Emirates Women were dismissed for 132 in 42.4 overs, giving Papua New Guinea Women a well-deserved 78-run win.
