Teachers and students from Sagir Primary School in Wampar LLG Ward in Huon Gulf, Morobe Province can now use a new classroom and teacher’s house, recently opened by the local MP and Minister for Community Development, Youths and Religion, Jason Peter
The classroom cost K100,000 while the teacher’s house cost K20,000, funded under the district’s Bottom-Up Planning Strategy Concept.
This initiative is part of MP Peter’s ongoing commitment to improving education access and creating a conducive learning and teaching environment across Huon Gulf District.
In his remarks, Mr. Peter emphasized the importance of investing in education as the foundation for community development and the future of young people in the district.
The official opening was attended by local leaders, teachers, parents, students, and community members, who expressed their appreciation for the government’s support in addressing education infrastructure needs.
