The UPNG Banking and Finance Student Association, a student-led initiative at the University of Papua New Guinea, plays a vital role in linking students with prospective employers, creating career pathways, and narrowing the gap between academic learning and the financial sector.
This year’s event theme is Augmenting Financial Integrity: Aligning with the financial action task force (FATF) standards to safeguard PNG’s Financial Market and Economic future.
BSP Head of Community Development and Sponsorship Tina Pomat said, this year’s theme carries significant relevance and at BSP, we believe that strengthening financial integrity is not just a need.
“We are proud to support initiatives like this that highlights the challenges facing PNG’s financial sector. The 7th annual networking event will be held at the APEC Haus in Port Moresby on Friday the 29th of August, 2025.
