GOVERNOR GENERAL OFFICIATES 31st ENGA CULTURAL SHOW

Governor General of Papua New Guinea His Excellency Grand Chief Sir Bob Dadae has officially opened the 31st Enga Cultural Show at Aipus Johnson Siki Oval in Wabag yesterday.
The Vice Regal was well received by the Governor for Enga, Sir Peter Ipatas, Enga Provincial Administrator Sandis Tsaka, international tourists, members of the disciplined forces and all public servants who were there to celebrate Enga’s special and historic occasion.
Provincial Administrator Sandis Tsaka acknowledged the presence of the Governor General who set history by staying in a province outside of Port Moresby for more than a day.
Tsaka said the 31st Enga Cultural Show will feature traditional music and dances, displays of cultural arts, crafts and rituals, exhibitions and demonstrations of contemporary arts and crafts programs at the Take Anda Museum and guided tours and visits to iconic cultural sites.
On behalf of King Charles, Sir Bob Dadae will officiate the Ceremony tomorrow where a total of 375 50th Independence Anniversary Kings Medals will be presented by the Governor General to recipients from Enga Province.
“A total of 375 esteemed individuals in the province are being recognised for their distinguished services towards the growth of the Enga Province and Papua New Guinea as a nation in the last 50 years since Independence,” Tsaka said.
Expatriates living and working at the Enga Referral Hospital and the Innovative University of Enga were also present to welcome the Governor General and his delegation.
