PIL REAFFIRMS SUPPORT FOR WAN SQUAD’S 2025 HHI WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP CAMPAIGN
Pacific Industries Limited (PIL), through its iconic MTN Dew brand, announced its continued sponsorship of Wan Squad Dance Crew as they prepare to defend their world title at the 2025 Hip Hop International (HHI) World Championship, taking place in Phoenix, Arizona, USA from July 26 to August 2.
This year, Pacific Industries Limited through its MTN Dew brand, has committed a total sponsorship package of K150,000, covering Wan Squad’s 2025 campaign — including their travel, accommodation, and participation in the global competition.
Wan Squad made history last year by winning Papua New Guinea’s first-ever World Title in the Adult Division at HHI, a landmark achievement that placed PNG firmly on the international hip hop stage.
To mark this year’s sponsorship, the Pacific Industries Limited Marketing Team presented a mock cheque to the crew at the Wan Squad Dance Studio on July 17th 2025.
