FRATERNAL ORDER OF EAGLES-PHILIPPINE EAGLES DONATES TO FRIENDS OF POMGEN.

A Philippine Association in Papua New Guinea known as The Fraternal Order of Eagles-Philippine Eagles, made a heartfelt donation today to the Friends of Pomgen (FOPG) Charity Appeal.
This was led by His Excellency Ambassador Edgar Tomas Auxilian and organized by the incoming Association President Roxan Cruz.
Arriving in convoy with arms full of supplies, members of the association handed over boxes of water, toilet tissue, diapers, biscuits, food, a fridge and microwave, among other essential items for patients at Port Moresby General Hospital.
They were warmly received by FOPG Founder Michelle Monsour and Manager Grace Roland on site.
Monsour expressed deep gratitude, saying, “It’s only through the kindness of communities like this that we’re able to continue our mission of supporting patients and their families. Every small gesture counts. Our Mothers Oncology Unit now has a fridge, and the Pediatric TB ward finally has a microwave — these are simple items, but they create big changes. They bring dignity, comfort, and a sense of care to patients who often feel forgotten.
Ambassador Auxilian reflected on the growing bond between the association and FOPG, saying; “This is more than a donation — it is an expression of who we are as a people. The Philippine Community always stands for compassion, community work, and humanity, and we see those same values deeply rooted in the work of Friends of Pomgen in the hospital. What began as a gesture of goodwill has now grown into a genuine friendship, and we proudly stand beside FOPG as partners. Together, we will continue to make a difference.”
FOPG continues to receive donations from the community in support of its recent appeal for patient care needs.
