PNG PAEDIATRIC SOCIETY DONATES TO HEALTH WORKERS

The Papua New Guinea Paediatric Society has donated 720 copies of the 11th edition of the Paediatric Standard Manual for Health Workers in Papua New Guinea to the National Capital District Provincial Health Authority (NCDPHA) in Port Moresby.

NCDPHA Chief Executive Officer Dr. Robin Oge said the contribution made to NCDPHA by PNG Paediatric Society will greatly help in enhancing and broadening the understanding of the staff in providing patient care.

“With the updated version of the Paediatric Standard Treatment Manual, the clinical staff are well equipped and are expected to provide daily clinical services with excellence,” he said.

On behalf of the boards and management team of NCDPHA, CEO Oge thanked the PNG Paediatric Society for this valuable contribution made to the organization.

“The Paediatric Standard Treatment Manual is officially launched and will be used by all staff for patient treatment,” said Dr Oge.
