Minister for Information and Communication Technology, Timothy Masiu announced the accomplishments and plans of the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology, National Cyber-security under the Digital Government Act 2020.
Minister Masiu said their agenda is to perform all critical tasks that are in-line with the international best practices.
This was revealed in his ministerial statement during the parliament session earlier this week.
He also announced that Papua New Guinea is the first Pacific Island Nation to initiate the Digital Transformation Agenda through the ICT Digital Transformation Policy 2020.
That was revealed in the Interaction Telecommunication Union Conference last month in Bucharest, Romania, which he attended.
