ROAD SAFETY

The road traffic Authority has threatened to withdraw PMV licenses if they fail to provide the expected services to the public.

The Authority Chief Executive Officer, Nelson Terema issued the warning today after receiving complaints that PMV’s are engaged to carting supporters of candidates at the expense of the travel public.

Terema clarified that transporting supporters only take 1 hour and not a whole day.

“The committee will decide whether to revoke the license or to penalize” Nelson Terema said

He also cautioned drivers on safety.
