Pruaitch Keen to Improve Foreign Relationship

Foreign Affairs Minister Patrick Pruaitch aims to improve the country’s foreign relationship with development partners.

Speaking to heads of missions, Minister Pruaitch called for an improved dialogue to remain relevant in achieving better outcomes. Minister Pruaitch says all economies must work together for better outcomes in 2020.” The Marape-Steven Government wants to achieve better outcomes”, said Pruaitch.

Pruaitch says the Marape-Steven Government is keen to uphold better partnership beginning 2020. According to the Foreign Minister, he wants to see and tangible improvement in areas of trade, and other agendas guided by the Medium Term Development plan.

Pruaitch says better dialogue is key for foreign diplomacy. Department Secretary, Barbara Age, also shared similar sentiments. She says foreign missions have been working closely with the Department; she wants that level of engagement to improve its purpose.

The Foreign Affairs Minister officially met all heads of mission at the Central Government building yesterday in Port Moresby.
