PNG’s Tourism Minister Emil Tammur, who officiated during the meeting, says the two-day meet has opened doors for PNG to learn from its sister countries. One of the main areas of focus for PNG will be on tourism.

Recommendations made in the two-day meeting are expected to be further discussed in the next Melanesian Spearhead Group Leadership Summit.
