The Central Province Premier Rugby League kicked off the Hardware Haus Agarobe cup last week. And they are also PNG Games Defending Champions and they are looking to retain their title come 2020 PNG Games, which will be held this time in the Southern Highlands.
And preparations have begun this early out, with the 6th Central Provincial Games last week, which was the perfect opportunity to scout for home grown talents to send to the 8th edition of the grassroots games.
We also take a look at the international rugby league calendar. An exciting nines tournament, which is the first of its kind, will kick off – international test tours at the end of the season proper.
