Wests Tigers great Farah set to announce retirement

 

(NRL)—Wests Tigers veteran Robbie Farah is set to call time on his career at the end of the season after bringing up his 300th NRL match last weekend.

The Tigers have not officially announced Farah’s future but have called a media conference involving the star No.9 Tuesday.

Farah, who played 16 State of Origin matches for NSW and eight Tests for Australia, has spent 16 of his 17 seasons in the top grade at the Tigers – where he played in the grand final-winning team in 2005.

The 35-year-old also played at stint for South Sydney and represented Lebanon at Test level in recent years….
