Education Minister Launch Student Data Collection System

By Patricia Keamo – EMTV News Cadet Journalist, Port Moresby

With just a click on the laptop, Papua New Guinea Education Minister, Nick Kuman, launched the Online Student Data Collection System today. Developed by Pure Math Solution, this is a system that will enable headmasters and principals of schools throughout the country to collect student’s assessment records and national examination results and entre them online.

The implementation of this online app will lighten the burden of schools having to collect student’s data and send them to the Measurement Service Division manually.

In addition to student’s assessment data accessed online in this app, schools can issue school leaver forms to grade 10s and 12s where they can log in with their username and password to access the SLF form and apply electronically for tertiary institutions.

Secretary for education, Dr Uke Kombra, says this system will contribute to the enhancement of education system in the country.
