Schools in East New Britain suspend classes

Schools in East New Britain have been suspended since yesterday following the ongoing torrential rains in the province.

The office of the provincial administrator has issued a notice to all school in the province to call off classes after all major roads have become relatively blocked by floods and landslips.

East New Britain provincial administrator Wilson Matava urged all schools to adhere to the notice and prioritized the safety of their students.

All schools will resume next Monday.
