By Tamara Pia Agavi, EMTV Cadet Journalist, Port Moresby

Twelve graduands that graduated today from Kina Bank’s Project ‘Wok Program’ are one step closer to achieving their dreams – among them, is Therese Pomat.

Therese Pomat joined eleven other participants in the first graduation of Kina Bank’s Project Wok Program.

For this young woman, her future with one of the country’s largest banks is bright as she looks to harnessing opportunities that may be present in the near future.

Speaking to EMTV News, Therese said she is confident in facing the challenges of the banking industry.

For Therese, this is also an added benefit, as she becomes the second person in her family to work with Kina Bank. Her mother, Sheila Gabusiani, also works at Kina bank.

Given the success of Project Wok this year, plans are in place to expand the program to schools in Port Moresby into the coming year.
