The Port Moresby Racquets Club will be hosting the Squash and Tennis Open tournament from the 28 to the 30th of this month.
Having officially launched the competition last Friday, registrations is now open till next Monday, the 17th.
This year’s two-day tournament is expected to see over 130 participants, as per the initial show of interest coming from Kokopo, Lae and Australia.
The selections for major events including the Commonwealth Games will be done during the tournament for both Tennis and Squash.
And in a show of good faith, the number of sponsors has reached 15 this year.
Thankful for the support, Pom Racquets Club President, Tim Kriebisch said this will also go towards the improvement of club facilities and junior development.
The POM Racquets club says all interested participants are to hand deliver their registration forms to the club or have them emailed to pomracketsclub@gmail.com.
