NCD Ballot Boxes held under tight security

More than 600 ballot boxes from all four seats in the National Capital District, are being kept under lock and key, and tight security at the Rita Flynn Indoor Complex.

They were transported there last night, following the close of polling in the Nation’s Capital.

Following one day polling conducted in NCD yesterday, more than 600 ballot boxes for all three electorates, and the regional seat, are being held at the Rita Flynn Courts.

These boxes were transported yesterday after polling concluded, and are under heavy security.

Officials at the site remained tight-lipped yesterday, and have not released any information to the media.

This morning EMTV News was present at the site but could not get an official comment from the NCD Election Manager or Assistant Manager.

Meanwhile, other places that failed to conduct polling yesterday, were given a second chance today.

This morning at 9:51 am, polling officials were seen leaving Rita Flynn Courts to conduct polling at McGregor Barracks.
