Hearing for Buka Town Council Adjourned

The National Court in Buka has adjourned the court hearing filled by plaintiffs, the Buka Town Manager, Edward Kenai and the Buka Town Council against Buka Town Mayor, John Angamata and five other defendants.

The Court Order has granted an extension on the hearing to later in July or August. The Court Order granted by the Court on May 24, 2017 maintains that Mr Kenai is still the manager of the Buka Town Council.

And that he will perform his duties and responsibilities without interference from the dependents until the scheduled court hearing.

Meanwhile the court order comes into effect after the Buka Town Manager, and two senior officers were issued their termination letters on Tuesday May 23, 2017.
