O’Neill backs Manase in Kandep

People’s National Congress Party Leader and Prime Minister, Peter O’Neill, is calling for a change in leadership for the people of Kandep.

Mr. O’Neill promised a brighter future for Kandep, while slamming statements by the Opposition and its members to cut back on Free Education and the Free Health Care Policy.

The Prime Minister was in Kandep yesterday to support PNC Candidate, Alfred Manase, who is contesting the Kandep seat. Despite Kandep being a stronghold for the current Opposition leader and Sitting MP Don Polye, an estimated thousand rallied to hear from the ruling Government.

Prime Minister Peter O’Neill told the crowd, in spite of the political differences between the Government and Opposition, leaders must work together for people to benefit.

PM O’Neill assured the Kandep people, the Kandep Mendi road and other impact projects will be completed under the PNC Government.

PNC Party leader and Prime Minister Peter O’Neill was backed by Enga Governor Peter Ipatas, Imbonggu MP Francis Awesa and Wabag MP Robert Ganim showed solidarity as campaign rallies for PNC continue before polling.

A confirmed 31 candidates will be contesting for the Kandep Open seat.
