PNG Cancer Foundation has launched its re-branded Biggest Morning Tea Campaign as the 2017 Let’s Talk Cancer Campaign.
With cancer high among women in Papua New Guinea, and many lacking knowledge about different causes and the early signs, as well as prevention, such initiatives are significant and can drive the dissemination of cancer information to the majority population.
According to PNG Cancer Foundation CEO, Dadi Toka Jr, the Let’s Talk Cancer campaign is to encourage Papua New Guineans to start talking about cancer, cancer prevention and even make healthy lifestyle choices.
The cancer campaign is also a major fundraising event for the PNG Cancer Foundation.
The general public is urged to join in the cancer campaign and drive the awareness forward to spread the information to others.
The campaign will run from May to July, and those interested can register to host your own ‘Let’s Talk Cancer’ event.
For more information, you can contact 180 2009 or email fundraising@cancerfoundation.org.pg
